Unable to sleep tonight,so i thought why not a new post.

So *Tada* here it is.. couldnot think of its name so just called it Chocolate Patties/Rolls. In India puff pastry with fillings called as Patties but not in countries like USA , UK, hence the dilemma .well  as some people say wats in name :) I am moving forward to recipe part

Ingredients :
For Pastry

  • 60 g butter cut into small pieces / 1 cup of refined oil.
  • 200 g self raising / multipurpose Flour , plus extra for dusting.

  • For Filling

     Chocolates

    1. Preheat the oven to 180C and place a baking tray in the oven to heat through.

2.For the pastry, place the butter / oil into a large bowl with the flour and salt. Gently rub the butter into the

flour using finger tips. Alternatively use a food processor.

    3. Add 2-3 tbs cold water to bind the mixture. knead it lightly untill well amalgamated. dust it with flour place it into sealable plastic bag else just cover it with some cotton cloth and chill it for 30 mins. before using.

    4. Divide the dough in small portions n make balls , and roll out each one.. place small pieces of crumbled chocolates and wrap it any shape you want (rectangle /triangle ). And seal the loose ends with help of egg or oil or milk. Brush the patties / rolls with milk and make very small incisions in centre with help of knife you can furthuer decorate to make a lattice effect

    5. Bake patties for 30- 40 minutes or untill they turn golden brown and donot forget to turn them after 15-20 mins.

6.Donot remove patties/rolls just after the timer goes off, take them out after 5- 10 minutes, and serve them warm

and again sorry for no picture :P
